MyLaps Link for WHP East 1/9/16

My apologies everyone, still getting the hang of this, and trying to make sure things were all good first.

Here's the MyLaps link for the WHP East event:

Results for TT3 on Saturday are also incorrect in both NASA Timing&Scoring and on MyLaps. Jim Richard was DQ'd and did not have the fastest time. Jeff Abrams has it right on the TT results page. Handling adjustments in finishing order when there are DQ's requires some kind of special attention I think.

This "official mistake" has a potential serious financial impact on contingency claims and needs to be corrected before the "official results" are posted anywhere...

Yes, it does, and I'm currently waiting to hear back from the race director on the question from yesterday. So once Paul chimes in, I can adjust anything that's there.

Correct, I had the fastest time driving Jim Richard's 911....LOL. I DQ'd myself though. You're welcome.

Todd will post and correct everything tonight.

I appreciate Gabe reminding us regarding of changes Leland's position, admittedly I was told about the change in impound but unfortunately I didn't forward the info to Todd, probably preoccupied with the red flag.

Any help from the group leaders is always appreciated!

Luckily (if you could call it that), none of the programs are finalized yet.

Gabe, the results for the HC2 cars from the saturday race have been adjusted and re-uploaded to the timing and scoring site. I'm emailing the mylaps folks to make sure I can adjust the results there without clobbering everything else, or the existing url, since that'd be a pain.

For the TT Results, Eric and I went back and forth for a while trying to sort out the details, and we think we've got it handled. The important thing to remember is this:

1 - ALL of the results that the software generates are effectively just a transponder number that is associated with a time, and those 2 factors are unchangeable. What this also means though, is that all the other data (Driver name, DQ, car number, etc) is adjustable and easy to fix after the fact. So if there's mistakes, no worries, they're easy to fix.

2 - I (and Nikki before me) have that pesky day job the usually takes 10-12 hours of my day, so I apologize in advance if there's delays is getting things fixed when they need to. But I promise they'll always gets fixed and get right. That way we can all collectively worry about what tomfoolery Adina (Anida?) has planned for saturday nights at away events...
