Nikki,

Just wanted to point out that the official results shows Joel Schotz in 1st place in TT on Saturday. He actually DQ'd the car prior to the sessions starting and should not have been listed as first. Eric and Jeremy are both aware of this change and did post the correct results on the TT results page but NASA T&S and MyLaps have it wrong.

Cheers,

Hal Dunn

NASA AZ is looking for track workers. Please contact me if interested. Good way to get involved before driving if you are "prepping" a car.

As always, MyLaps data and timing and scoring data are not results and are not sanctioned or certified.

FWIW...

Whether the results are "Sanctioned or Certified" by NASA isn't really relevant to my comment. The point is they are published on readily accessable websites for the world to see and the corrections were submitted well in advance of publication so they should have been fixed.

We can and do sometimes use the NASA T&S data and/or MyLaps data for contingency claims and both sources are acceptable to our sponsors.

Also, the NASA T&S website does contain 2 separate areas, one for "Provisional" results and one for "Official" results, so one can assume at least the NASA T&S results are "Official".

Hal,
I have corrected said change. I apologize for this one slipped thru the cracks, but Mylaps and online results have been adjusted to reflect this,

Hal/all,

We have been having lots of internal discussion on this topic and we will be making improvements in terms of being consistent with the posted data. Obviously we are all human and as hard as we try to automate and reduce errors, the dynamic nature and our willingness to be flexible with multiple transponders, shared cars, changed cars, etc. Makes for an ultra challenging environment and we will have mistakes that are nearly impossible to all correct at the track.

I think the main take away is everyone should see improvements going forward with the data being the same across the various locations (ex: timingscoring.drivenasa.com, mylaps, nasa-tt.com and Race group season points).

Thx all
