PIR is an interesting case - because the straight is curved. If you can carry big speed through the oval you will not have much of a terminal speed disadvantage compared to a car with a lot of power but has to slow down through NASCAR 3-4 significantly.

On a track with big straights, miller, FIR main, the HP makes much more of a difference.

I got bored with FWD with my VW GTI, switched to the 350Z and am still learning how to drive it. If Tage had Rado's budget he would definitely be driving in a pro series.
